ABA therapy, or Applied Behavior Analysis, is an evidence-based approach that helps children build important communication, social, and daily living skills through structured, personalized strategies. It uses proven tools such as positive reinforcement, task analysis (breaking skills into manageable steps), prompting and fading techniques, behavior modeling, and data-driven behavior intervention plans to encourage progress and reduce challenging behaviors.
ABA therapy offers similar practices and benefits of autism therapy, and is one of the most widely recommended and evidence-based approaches for individuals on the autism spectrum. ABA uses positive reinforcement to teach meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors, and it can also be a valuable resource for individuals with other developmental or behavioral needs.
Sessions are typically delivered by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who works one-on-one with your child under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBA designs and adjusts the treatment plan, while behavior changes and skill development are carefully documented and tracked. This data-driven approach allows families to see measurable, quantifiable progress over time.
Every child is different, so the timeline for results can vary. Some families begin noticing small improvements—such as better communication, smoother transitions, or reduced challenging behaviors—within the first few weeks. More significant skill development typically builds over several months of consistent therapy.
Because ABA therapy is individualized and data-driven, progress is carefully tracked and treatment plans are adjusted as your child grows. The goal is steady, meaningful improvement that leads to lasting, measurable results over time.
Getting started with ABA therapy is simple and supportive. The first step is to contact our team to schedule a consultation where we learn more about your child’s needs, strengths, and goals. From there, a comprehensive assessment is completed to create a personalized treatment plan.
Once services are approved and scheduled, your child will begin working one-on-one with a trained ABA technician under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We guide you through each step of the process to make starting therapy smooth and stress-free for your family.
We offer services in-home, in day-care centers, in community, and in clinic.
